Drangey Island with its steep sea cliffs, towers majestically in the midst of Skagafjörður fjord in Iceland and is a bird watching paradise. The island is a nesting colony for thousands of seabirds, including puffins, guillemots, gannets, kittiwakes, fulmar, shearwaters, ravens, and gyrfalcons. The island’s sheer sided rock front is approximately 600 feet high and provides a wonderful view over the whole fjord.
