This sculpture is called “Two Wings Flyer.” The sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz is a Polish artist living from 1930-2017. She also created the headless forms in the park in Poznan. The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin commissioned her in 2001 to create a sculpture for the Club in Milwaukee. The result is the Birds of Knowledge of Good and Evil located in front of the building on city property. The bird in the picture is located in Wroclaw in the Centennial Exhibition Complex which is also home to the Wroclaw Fountain and the Japanese Garden as well as Centennial Hall.
