The Malbork Castle Great Refectory or Knight’s Hall, which served as a reception room that the Grand Masters entertained guests in. Note the three tree-like pillars, which branch up to a stunning vaulted ceilings. The pillars and vaults were designed to resemble the palm trees to which the Knights were accustomed after their lives in Palestine.
